Nadeen previously served as a Briefing Attorney and Staff Attorney at the Fourth Court of Appeals in San Antonio. In that role, she advised the justices on the resolution of complex legal issues in appeals and original proceedings and drafted opinions in civil and criminal matters.
Since leaving the Fourth Court of Appeals, Nadeen has served as lead appellate counsel in more than fifteen appeals before Texas intermediate courts of appeals and the Supreme Court of Texas.
Nadeen has also served as appellate counsel and second chair in numerous trials, working closely with trial teams on jury charge conferences, dispositive motions, and issue preservation. She has also represented both plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes commercial disputes—securing victories on both sides of the docket. Her experience includes successfully defending a $9 million business dispute through a month-long jury trial and obtaining a complete defense verdict, as well as serving as appellate counsel in plaintiff-side breach of contract cases and securing affirmance on every issue presented.
Nadeen was recently appointed to the Texas Pattern Jury Charge – Business, Consumer, Insurance and Employment Committee. She is currently on the Steering Committee for the Bexar County Women’s Bar Foundation’s LEAD Academy—a leadership academy focused on helping women excel in the practice of law, and she is the Vice-President of the San Antonio Young Lawyers Association and the Vice-Chair of the San Antonio Bar Association Appellate Section.
Nadeen has served as an adjunct professor at St. Mary’s School of Law, coaching students on appellate advocacy skills including legal research, brief writing, and oral argument. She is the founder of the Organizational Moot Court Team, which is a team focused on sharpening appellate advocacy skills for diverse students.
