Hannah Mery

Associate Lawyer

Hannah Mery is an appellate attorney and commercial litigator with experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial litigation matters. She is licensed to practice in Texas state court and the federal district courts for the Western, Eastern, Northern, and Southern Districts of Texas.

Prior to entering private practice, Hannah clerked for Justice John P. Devine at the Texas Supreme Court. In that role, she analyzed petitions for review, presented memorandums to the Court regarding her analysis of issues in petitions for review and jurisprudence in the relevant legal areas, and drafted opinions.

Hannah was recently elected to be a Texas Bar Foundation Fellow. She is a member of the 2026 Bexar County Women’s Bar Foundation LEAD Academy class and the State Bar of Texas LeadershipSBOT class of 2023–2024.

Hannah earned her Juris Doctorate, summa cum laude, from St. Mary’s School of Law, where she graduated as valedictorian of her class. As a law student, she served as the Editor in Chief for the St. Mary’s Journal on Legal Malpractice and Ethics. Hannah earned the Women in Law Leadership Award and the Faculty Award of Excellence in various subjects.

She also participated in the St. Mary’s Institute on World Legal Problems at the University of Innsbruck in Innsbruck, Austria.

Hannah earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, where she graduated with highest honors after double-majoring in Plan II Honors and Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures with a concentration in the Arabic language and a minor in Italian.
